They plan to launch the Jewellery Academy of South Africa to preserve the art of handcrafting precious metals, a rare skill passed down in only a few places globally. Tarquin’s innovative technique of electro-chemically setting diamonds onto gold or platinum has led to the creation of Ptag 8, a novel white precious metal, catering to the growing demand for affordable white metal jewelry.
